VolleyView (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the VolleyView mobile application.

Information We Collect

VolleyView allows users to create and manage team-related data including team names, player details, and match information. This data is created and controlled by the user.

We do not collect personal information such as email addresses, phone numbers, or location data.

How Your Data Is Stored

Current Version (Local Storage)
All data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data.

Future Versions (Cloud Storage)
Future versions may use Apple CloudKit to enable team sharing and backup. When enabled, data is stored securely in your iCloud account and managed by Apple.

Team Sharing and Visibility

If you enable team sharing in future versions:

  • A team code or QR code may allow others to view team data
  • Shared data may include team name, roster, and match information
  • Shared users will have view-only access

You will be able to control sharing settings and access to your team data.

Data Security

We rely on Apple’s platform security and CloudKit infrastructure to protect your data. Data stored in iCloud is encrypted and handled according to Apple’s privacy standards.

Data Retention

  • Local data remains on your device until deleted
  • Cloud data remains in your iCloud account until removed by you

Third-Party Services

VolleyView uses Apple services only, including the App Store, CloudKit (future feature), and system sharing tools. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising services.

Children’s Privacy

VolleyView does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Any data entered into the app is managed by the user.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
